Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Mushtaq is the Chief Financial Officer of Titan Fitness and is responsible for managing the financial operations and systems as well as negotiation and due diligence on acquisitions.  Prior to forming Titan Fitness, Mr. Mushtaq was a principal at Titan Management Solutions (TMS), in this capacity he provided franchisees with advice on raising capital, implementing accounting systems and reporting structures, and devising financial and business strategies to maximize their goals.  Mr. Mushtaq also worked with franchisees to prepare them to be acquired by Gold's Gym International as well as assisting in the acquisition of other facilities to support the expansion of franchised territories. Mr. Mushtaq was instrumental in the turnaround and subsequent sale of a multi-store chain in the Midwest back to GGI.

Prior to Mr. Mushtaq's involvement in Titan Fitness, he was involved in finance, accounting, strategy and operational activities with companies in the technology, manufacturing, fitness, and services arena for the past 11 years.  He worked for American Capital Strategies, a $3 billion private equity fund based in the Washington, DC area, where he was responsible for financial and operational oversight of a portfolio of companies ranging in size from $20 million to $100 million.  Prior to American Capital, Mr. Mushtaq was Director of Transaction Services with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was involved in business strategy, finance and advisory activities ranging from investment banking, due diligence to strategy consulting. He worked on transactions ranging in size from $20 million to $4 billion, including a number of international deals as well as the acquisition of Gold's Gym International in 1999 by Mr. Skeen and his partners and Brockway Moran.  Mr. Mushtaq worked on the MCI bankruptcy reorganization, which was the largest of its kind at the time.  Over the last 11 years, Mr. Mushtaq has been involved in over 80 transactions and has created upwards of $300 million in value for clients and partners.  Mr. Mushtaq has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and an MBA in Finance & Management from Georgetown University.  He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
